Sachem East alum Vito Demola is in the running for the Division II Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Year Laxie Award presented by Inside Lacrosse.
Demola is coming off a magnificent run with Dowling, leading the Golden Lions to the NCAA Division II national title, while scoring four goals and adding two assists in the deciding game against Limestone.
He was an honorable mention All-American last year and scored 31 goals and 11 assists in the regular season, as well as five goals and two assists in total during the playoffs.
