Sachem East senior Nick Pomilla has committed to play college lacrosse at SUNY Plattsburgh.
A long stick midfielder and defender, Pomilla has also played football and wrestled throughout his time at East.
Plattsburgh competes in the SUNYAC and finished 11-7 last year.
Pomilla is one in a handful of East athletes who will play in college. From the Class of 2013 there is also Thomas Engelken (Delaware) and John Vigh (Marist) and from the Class of 2014 there is Jason Debenedictis (St. John’s) and Kyle Larkin (Quinnipiac).
