Sachem East picked up its second win of the season on Saturday beating Ward Melville, 27-13, on the road.
Sachem East (2-4) senior quarterback Danny Wolff completed 9 of 11 passes for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns, and also ran for 46 yards.
The key play of the game for East was a 40-yard touchdown pass to Chris Monteiro to open the third quarter and put the Arrows up, 20-6.
KJ Hill led Sachem East with 103 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Sachem East hosts William Floyd next week for its next contest during Week 7.
