The winning cruise continued for Sachem East boys volleyball in the Class A Long Island championship on Saturday as the Arrows beat Nassau County’s Port Washington, 3-0, at Hofstra University.
The Arrows (15-3) advance to the New York State tournament at the Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y. on Friday, November 15. Pool play begins at 1:30 p.m. and the Division I finals are at 6 p.m.
Sachem East beat Port Washington by the scores of: 25-16, 25-19, 25-23.
This is the first boys volleyball Long Island championship for Sachem East in school history.
