Aristea Lucas and Carissa Hagan, teachers at Sagamore Middle School, recently had a vignette they wrote published in a book titled, “Beyond Core Expectations: A school-wide framework for serving the not-so-common learner” by Maria Dove, Andrea Honigsfeld and Audrey Cohan.
Their vignette highlights the Collaborative ESL Program at Sagamore.
A description on Amazon says the book, “demonstrates a system-wide approach to support the learning needs of culturally, linguistically, and academically diverse students.”
