Sachem East’s Nick Tedesco was recently announced as the winner of the New Balance Game Changer Award.
He earned a $10,000 college scholarship from New Balance for his volunteer work around the game of baseball.
“I don’t worry about baseball statistics because I play for a cause,” said Tedesco, who is involved with various charitable efforts with his Hanks Yanks travel program and Miracle League Long Island. “I will continue to wake up each and every single day trying to change the game by making the world a better place to live. That is why I am a New Balance Game Changer.”
