Due to their success over the last few years, the Sachem North and Sachem East cross country teams will again be traveling up to the Brown University hosted Northeast Cross Country Invitational in late October.
Held at Goddard Park in Warwick, this event features many of the top programs in the region getting one last fast effort on a flat and fast course before the start of the championship season.
The teams will be holding a fundraiser at the Roast Coffee Shop in Patchogue on Saturday, Sept. 13 from 7-10 p.m. to raise funds to pay for the bus.
The acoustic duo Visco and McNeill will be performing classics from the 70’s to the present, and as a special treat team member Erin Leonard will be joining them for a number.
There will be no admission charge but donations will be accepted.
