Sachem North boys volleyball won the inaugural Sachem Classic Saturday afternoon at the high school.
The Flaming Arrows defeated Massapequa in the finals after beating Northport in the quarterfinals and Sachem East in the semifinals.
Sachem North had the top seed in the tournament after pool play.
Some of the tournament’s top performers from Sachem North: Dylan Missry had 40 kills, Nick Miller had 35 kills and Robbie Nolan, who was named MVP, had 49 digs.
The Sachem Classic featured the top 12 teams in Long Island from Nassau and Suffolk counties.
Sachem North also win the Northport Invitational last week beating Massapequa in the finals and Sachem East in the semifinals.
