Sachem East alum Keith Kinkaid make a spectacular save during a pre-season NHL game between the Devils and Islanders on Friday night at Barclays Center.
Kinkaid, in net for New Jersey, pulled off a spin-o-rama save that was featured on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays.
Islanders defenseman Brian Strait took a shot on Kinkaid, who made a glove save and kept the puck out of the net as it deflected up and around him in the crease.
The Islanders beat the Devils, 3-2, in a shootout. It was the team’s first win at Barclays Center, their new home starting next season.
