For the second straight season, Sachem East lost to Mamaroneck in the Class A New York State field hockey championship.
Mamaroneck beat Sachem East, 5-0, Sunday morning at Maine-Endwell High School.
The Arrows put in a magnificent season, winning their fourth straight Suffolk County and Long Island championship.
Sachem East is 83-3 over the last four seasons in field hockey. They were 20-1 this season.
