Sachem North senior Nick Gutman has committed to play college lacrosse at Florida Southern.
“Nick is a very skilled player,” said Sachem North head lacrosse coach Jay Mauro. “He has worked hard and understands that he needs to continue to work hard for us to be successful. He’s been on the varsity for three years and has contributed each year. We are looking forward to his contributions as a senior and helping lead us to our team goals.”
Florida Southern competes in the Sunshine State Conference and was selected to finish second in the SSC by Inside Lacrosse this spring.
Sachem alums Tyler Novak, a junior, and Joe Caridi, a freshman, are both members of the lacrosse team at Florida Southern.
