Three students-athletes from Sachem were selected to the All-State football team by the New York State Sportswriters Association.
Sachem North’s Kevin Bragaglia and Anthony DiMatteo, as well as Sachem East’s Connor Farrell, earned the honor.
Bragaglia was named to the second team offense, Farrell was named to the second team defense and DiMatteo was selected to third team defense.
This is the sixth straight season that Sachem North has had at least one All-State selection.
Bragaglia and DiMatteo have received the honor twice in their careers.
Farrell is the third player in Sachem East history to earn All-State honors and first since Steve Casali (first team) and Mike Marchello (honorable mention) in 2012.
