Sachem East junior Cara Trombetta has been selected as a American Family Insurance Pre-season All-American in lacrosse.
The Florida-bound Trombetta, coming off another outstanding performance this past fall in field hockey, is primed to be one of the top lacrosse players this season on Long Island and most likely the country.
Sachem East opens the season with a non-league contest at home against Miller Place on March 20.
