A team of fourth graders and fifth graders from Lynwood Elementary School won first place in the regional Destination Imagination tournament on Saturday.
The fifth grade team, which competed against 13 other teams, received the Renaissance Award for wowing the judges.
Both teams now qualify for the state tournament which will take place in Albany in April.
Destination Imagination is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Our purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.
