Sachem Aftershock, FIRST Robotics Competition Team 263 and its members from Sachem High Schools East and North, competed at the New York Tech Valley Regional from March 18-21.
The competition was held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Team 263 reached the Quarter Finals as captain of the third alliance after being ranked fifth following the Qualification Matches.
At the Closing Ceremonies, the judges awarded Aftershock the “Excellence in Engineering” Award sponsored by Delphi.
Three weeks prior, the Robotics Team won the South Florida Regional in Fort Lauderdale, where they also received the “Innovation in Control Systems” Award.
Sachem Aftershock will be competing again at the SPBLI Long Island Regional at Hofstra University from Thursday to Saturday, March 26-28. The event is free and open to the public.
