One of Merrimac’s teachers, Eileen Guider, was the recipient of the Town of Islip’s Women’s’ History Award- “Focus on Education” on April 7 at Town Hall in Islip.
She was recognized and received an award as well. She was recognized for the outstanding job she does in her role as an outstanding educator.
Guider is a fourth grader teacher at Merrimac.
