Sachem North alum Vin Juliano has been named captain of the football team at Cortland.
Juliano, who is heading into his senior season upstate, is an offensive lineman and undisputed leader of the Red Dragons.
The Offensive Rookie of the Year at Cortland as a freshman, Juliano was Most Outstanding Lineman at Sachem as a senior in 2011.
Cortland finished 5-5 overall last season and 4-3 in New Jersey Athletic Conference play.
