There have been a number of Sachem North lacrosse alumni doing big things on the collegiate level this year.
With more alumni on the college scene than any other team in Sachem, it’s no surprise to see these laxers succeeding and making the community proud.
Here’s a look at some recent news from Sachem North lacrosse alumni:
*Shawn Murphy and Kyle Rhatigan were named Division II All-Americans
*Rhatigan will be playing in the Division II National Championship Game on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Limestone is looking to repeat as National Champions.
*Rhatigan was also named First Team All Conference
*Murphy was also Second Team All Conference
*Shane Deboer was named a Junior College All-American for the second year in a row and was also named the Most Outstanding Midfielder in Junior College.
*Mike Calvagna was named to the NorthEast Conference All-Rookie Team
*Phil Schaefer was named to the 1st team All-Skyline
*Joe Caridi was named to the Sunshine State All Rookie Team
*Gerald Logan was named to the All-Big Ten Team
