Sachem North alum Brendan Garry was selected to the All-Liberty League baseball team during his final season playing at the University of Rochester.
Garry, an integral part of Sachem’s Suffolk County championship team in 2011, has been captain of the team at Rochester the last two years. With 10 homers during his senior year, he ranked No. 14 nationally in the offensive category.
This season he also recorded 38 RBI, 7 doubles, 2 triples and had a .276 batting average, while starting all 42 games.
Garry led the Liberty League in home runs, and was second in RBI, putouts, and double plays.
He ranks third all-time in Rochester history for home runs in a single-season, and had the fifth most at-bats in a single year as well.
