Sachem North’s Shannon Fox has been golfing on the varsity since seventh grade.
Fox, who just wrapped up her junior campaign, placed seventh in Suffolk County and helped Section XI take third overall in the New York State championships this past weekend at SUNY Delhi.
Last year she finished 39th in the state and this year improved to 29th with an 88 on day one and a 86 on day two.
