Sachem North rising senior Alexa Punzone has committed to play college lacrosse at Pace University.
Also considering Florida Southern, and Albany, she felt she would excel in academics and athletics more at Pace.
This season she is focused on becoming a stronger defender and being a leader on Sachem’s squad.
“Being a part of Sachem has made me become the person and player I am and I couldn’t have done any of it without the help of my teachers and coaches,” she said.
