Multiple student-athletes from Sachem were recognized as some of the best in Suffolk County and Long Island this week in their respective sports.
The following earned high praise for the fall season:
- Alexandra DeCicco, Sachem East, Suffolk County Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year
- Matt Grace, Sachem North, Long Island Boys Volleyball Player of the Year
- Jonathan Lauer, Sachem North, Long Island Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year
- Cara Trombetta, Sachem East, Suffolk County Field Hockey Player of the Year
