There are a number of student-athletes and teams competing in the playoffs this winter from Sachem. Here’s a look at some events coming up:
*Wed, 2/10, 5:00 p.m.: Boys and Girls Winter Track- Sachem East and Sachem North will compete in the Section XI Championship at Suffolk Community College, Brentwood Campus
*Thursday, 2/11, 5:00 p.m.- Boys Basketball, Huntington @ Sachem East
*Friday, 2/12, 5:00 p.m.- Girls Basketball, Northport @ Sachem East
*Friday & Sunday, 2/12 & 2/14, 10:00 a.m.: Wrestling- Sachem East and Sachem North will compete in the Section XI Division Championship at Hofstra University
*Saturday, 2/13, 12:00 p.m.: Boys Basketball- Copiague @ Sachem North
*Saturday, 2/13, 10:00 a.m.: Boys Swimming, Sachem will compete in the Section XI Championship at Suffolk County Community College, Brentwood Campus
*Saturday, 2/20, 8:00 a.m.: Cheerleading, Sachem East and Sachem North will compete in the Section XI Championship at Longwood HS
*Friday, 2/26-2/28: Arrowettes, East and North compete at NDA Nationals in Orlando
*Saturday-Sunday, March 5-6: Section XI Champions Sachem Boys Bowling will compete in the NYSPHSAA Championship in Cheektowaga, Buffalo
