Players spanning Sachem East’s baseball history dating back to 2005 returned Saturday afternoon for an alumni event at the high school.
They took batting practice and tossed the ball around like old times.
Perhaps the highlight of the day was Billy Neubauer, Class of 2005, hitting multiple home runs during the batting practice session.
Neubauer, who helped lead Sachem East to its only county and Long Island titles, is the program’s all-time career home runs leader.
