Sagamore Middle School spikes out cancer

Sagamore students and staff celebrated their second annual “Sagamore Spikes Out Cancer” Volleyball Tournament recently, raising over $1,500 to contribute to the St. Baldrick’s donation of over $17,000 from Sagamore.

There were 26 teams with over 200 students and 35 faculty members participating, with many family members and friends cheering them on.

Each team created a team name and made t-shirts to stand out and show their school spirit. There were a lot of laughs and some amazing players doing their best to move up to the next bracket.

Competition was tough, but one team emerged as the top team, earning a breakfast of egg sandwiches with Mr. Larson and Mrs. Johnson.
