Sagamore and Chippewa joined together on the Sagamore track in a walk-a-thon to support Autism Awareness Month and to recognize World Autism Day on April 2.
Students collected sponsors and all donations will go to Spectrum of Dreams a Sachem family founded organization that helps children with special needs.
Many Sachem students have benefitted from this organization.
This event was organized by Chippewa teacher Deb Furey in conjunction withe the sagamore Phys Ed teachers.
