Three volleyball players from Sachem East have been selected to the USA High Performance Volleyball Team.
Molly Jandris, a heavily recruited student-athlete with offers to more than 10 colleges, made the A2 team and is an alternate for the A1 squad.
Cierra Dolan and Sarah Mangan were selected for A3 and are alternates for A2.
The three girls are among the top 200 in the country for their age group- a tremendous accomplishment.
Molly will travel to Colorado and Cierra and Sarah will travel to Las Vegas this summer to train at the USA Volleyball Combines.
“I am incredibly humbled and proud to have the opportunity to coach these girls, as well as the other hard working members of the girls volleyball team,” said Sachem East coach Amanda Schmol. “This USA and GEVA HP opportunity is sure to bring great things individually for the girls, and will hopefully help bring us a title in the fall.”
