SYAG Track/XC Conditioning Camp begins July 6th

Designed to help ALL ATHLETES improve their performances, the SYAG Track/Cross Country Conditioning Camp provides a 6 week program that can help bring athletes to the next level. Open to boys and girls grades 4-12 (as of September 2016), program participants are grouped by current fitness level in either the aerobic development program (for endurance athletes) or speed/strength program (for speed/skill athletes).

A typical session consists of warm-up, stretching, drills, and plyometric work done together before splitting up for more specialized aerobic or speed-oriented activities. The camp is staffed by Sachem Track and Field Coaches and College Track, Cross Country, and Soccer athletes.

Participants can sign up for the full six weeks or 1 of the 2 three-week sessions. You can register using the form found below, by going to syag.com to get a complete description of the program, or by signing up on the first day! The first day of camp will be Wednesday, July 6th, meeting at the Sachem East Track at 4:45 pm. Questions? Email Coach Pete McNeill at pmcneill@sachem.edu or Coach Dan Schaub atdschaub@sachem.edu.
