Sachem track alumni succeeding in college

Once again this year Sachem track alumni are making their presence known in meets up and down the Eastern seaboard.

Just like in high school, they cover all the events and post some outstanding results. To use one example, just last week 11 North and East alumni were spotted at the Wagner College Invitational held at The Ocean Breeze Indoor Track facility on Staten Island, with two former Arrows coming away with victories.

Leah Blackall (North/University of Maryland) won the Triple jump, leaping 38′ 5.25 inches, and Trevor Guerrera (East/Sacred Heart University) placed first in the mile run, clocking 4:11.33. Also representing Sacred Heart were Shelby Trentini (East), Mike Kearns (North), Nick Pandolfo (East), and Kerstyn Ciulla (East). The Univerity of Mayland was represented by both Ciara Murphy (East) and Val Romero (East), Molloy College by Brittany Sepe, Hunter College by Stephanie Kwong (East), and Marrissa LoShiavo (North) was competing for St Josephs College.

With at least another 30 or so Sachem Alums out there on the college circuit look for the former Arrows to make their mark come championship season.
