Known as “Uncle Louie” in the entertainment industry, Louis Gregory has long been a key shaker in building relationships and creating music and sports ventures.
If you’re a hip hop fan, you make have noticed that Eric B. & Rakim came together for the “Paid in Full” reunion show at the Apollo Theater. Gregory, a Sachem alum and rep for Eric B., helped make the event a reality.
“All too often we embrace our icons only after it’s too late,” Gregory Rolling Stone. “By having such an important group come together now, it’s an opportunity for parents and their kids to go to a show together and see music that created the foundation for what many of today’s artists were built upon.”
If you’re not familiar with Eric B. & Rakim, they are often referred to as one of the most influential hip hop duos of all-time. They formed in 1986 on Long Island and set the bar for a genre that developed over the next two decades and beyond.
