Recent Sachem East grad Lauren Harris was featured in this week’s issue of Sports Illustrated.
Harris, one of the greatest high school racewalkers in U.S. history, made the “Faces in the Crowd” section of the magazine.
The Sachem alum will compete at Marist College starting this fall.
She is the second Sachem student-athlete to be featured in the last three years following Dylan Missry’s placement in “Faces”. Missry, arguably the best volleyball player in Sachem history, is currently playing at UCLA.
