Sachem East takes down Blue Devils in first round playoff match, heads to quarterfinals.
The Sachem East Arrows, playing with a No. 13 seed, took down No. 4 Huntington, in a first round Suffolk County Class AA playoff match on Wednesday.
Bailey Holfman scored the winning penalty kick for Sachem, who is 8-9 this season. The final was 5-4.
Nick Manzella made the winning save, also on penalty kicks.
Sachem travels to No. 5 Hills West on Friday for the quarterfinals at 2:00 p.m.
