Calvagna scores to give Arrows big playoff victory.
Sachem East, seeded No. 6 in the Suffolk County Class A field hockey quarterfinals, beat No. 2 Eastport-South Manor in upset fashion on Wednesday afternoon.
Taylor Calvagna scored to put the Arrows ahead with 7:01 left in the second half.
The Arrows will play against No. 1 Ward Melville in the finals on Saturday at 3 p.m. The game will take place at Half Half Hollow Hills West.
Sachem is 12-5 overall this season.
