Member of Sachem’s Long Island championship football team has had prolific career as quarterback in Commonwealth Coast Conference.
Helping Sachem North win a Long Island championship in 2013 was just the start of football greatness for Anthony Service.
Since then, Service has starred at Western New England, most recently breaking the school’s career passing touchdown record.
He broke the mark on Oct. 21 against Becker and has continued to pad the record since. In 27 career games he has 44 touchdown passes and just five interceptions.
Western New England has one more regular season game left before the conference playoffs begin.
As a junior last season, Service was selected All-New England by the New England Football Writers Association.
