Sachem Aftershock Has Final Off-Season Competition Before 2018 season Kicks Off in January
The Sachem Aftershock robotics team had a huge turnout of support at the Half Hollow Hills Invitational with more than 100 people in attendance, including team members and their families.
The team was one of 27 that competed at the off-season competition.
New team members and their families had the opportunity to experience their first robotics event, and some veteran team members had the chance to experience what it was like to be a part of the drive team on the field during a round.
They were eliminated in a sudden death semifinal round during the playoffs.
The invitational was the last time Aftershock will play FIRST Steamworks, the 2017 game. They will learn the details of the 2018 season’s game, FIRST Power Up, on Kickoff Day, January 6.
