School club gathers clothes and toys for annual drive.
The Sachem’s Robotics Team would like to thank the Sachem community in helping with donations for its clothing drive.
People came out and supported the team with an unprecedented 5,200 pounds of clothes as well as donating a robot cart full of new toys to support the community.
As a brainchild of Mrs. Haughie, a speech and language pathologist at Sachem North, proceeds from the clothes will go to supporting the team and all donated toys are slotted for children within the Sachem community.
