Strong performances from both varsity squads
Sachem’s cheer squads were on the national stage this past weekend in Florida and both placed among the top programs in the country at Walt Disney World.
Sachem North placed fourth in the large school division of the UCA Nationals and Sachem East, competing in the small school division, placed ninth.
The Suffolk cheerleading schedule is unique in that these teams get to compete at Nationals before the county tournament, so there is still plenty of action left this season.
