Sachem Alum Ed Morris To Be Inducted to Suffolk County Sports Hall of Fame

Alum from 1965 is the latest Sachem native to get tapped for induction

Ed Morris, who graduated from Sachem in 1965, will be inducted to the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame this year. It was announced at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Morris was the executive director of the hall of fame for 17 years until he retired from his role in September 2017. He passed the torch to fellow Sachem alum, Chris Vaccaro, who is the new executive director.

Sachem has had more inductees in the Suffolk Hall than any other school district and has had inductees for six straight years.
