Come down for a good time for a great Sachem foundation
Sachem Track and Cross Country program members, the Tom Toscano Foundation, and Irish Times restaurant in Holbrook are again teaming up for the annual Tom Toscano Foundation Barbecue. This year’s event will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, rain or shine at Irish Times.
Tom Toscano was a longtime Sachem Track Coach and Sagamore Principal who stayed involved with Track and Field his whole life as both a sprinter and a Suffolk County Official.
The Tom Toscano Foundation is a 501 (c) public charity that continues his legacy by raising funds to assist with various supplementary expenses such as summer camp costs, travel, and equipment.
There is NO admission fee for the BBQ and there will be FREE burgers, hot dogs, and live music throughout the event. There will be raffle drawings (over $1000 worth of prizes) and award presentations every 30 minutes, see the BBQ flyer for a list of this years honorees. This is a family friendly event- all ages are welcome- bring the whole family down to honor some wonderful student athletes and some fantastic community members!
