Big indoor track season for Sachem alums at SUNY Geneseo
SUNY Geneseo senior and Sachem North alum Isaac Garcia-Cassani and junior and Sachem East alum Gillan Faulkner were both on Geneseo’s National Champion Distance Medley relay squad at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track Championships held in Birmingham, Alabama.
This was Garcia-Cassani’s third national title. He won the indoor mile and the outdoor 1,500 in 2017.
Also at the 2018 Indoor Championships Garcia-Cassani earned career All-American honor No. 12 by placing second in the 3,000-meter run.
