In an odd scenario, Sachem East girls soccer won a Suffolk County title in a draw.
The Arrows, seeded third, tied top-seeded Ward Melville, 1-1, in 110 minutes of play on Saturday afternoon.
Since there is no Long Island championship or New York State tournament, there were no penalty kicks and the final was a draw.
Abby Carroll scored Sachem East’s lone goal. Abby Foster made 13 saves.
Sachem East was 12-0-1 this season.
