Sachem Alums Elected to board of Local Children’s Charity 

Anthony DeLorenzo, Sachem High School graduate from the Class of 2007, has been appointed as the Vice President of a local children’s charity based in Holbrook, N.Y., named Contractors for Kids (CFK). In addition, CFK also elected Chris Occhipinti, a Sachem alumnus from the class of 2009, to the executive board.

This appointment marks a significant milestone in DeLorenzo’s career. Since graduation, he has been known for his dedicated community service and professional achievements. 

After graduating from Sachem, DeLorenzo has embarked on a successful career as a public adjuster with United Public Adjusters & Appraisers, Inc. His role at United showcases his professional capabilities and underscores his commitment to supporting families in challenging situations as they navigate complex property damage insurance claims. 

Occhipinti, a lifelong friend of DeLorenzo, shares a similar passion for community involvement and charity work. Their combined efforts and leadership are expected to bring a new dynamism to CFK’s operations. 

Contractors for Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting children facing medical crises, has been at the forefront of community service in the region. CFK’s initiatives range from financial support for needy families to organizing fundraising events, all aimed at alleviating the burdens families face during medical emergencies.
