Huge congratulations to Sachem North sophomore Alicia Cardona on an incredible achievement at the NYS Championships.
Cardona placed fifth in New York State, becoming the first female wrestler in Sachem history to earn a place finish at the state championships.
Her grit, determination, and relentless work ethic have not only elevated her own game but also made her a program record-holder and will inspire the next generation of Sachem wrestlers.
The future is bright. And she’s only a sophomore.
