As we approach the opening night of football in Sachem for both East and North, it’s only fitting that we kick off this year’s TBT gallery with a photo from Sachem Football history.
The image above is a posed image from 1961, the first year Sachem fielded a varsity football team. The image appeared in the yearbook. Sachem went 7-1 during its inaugural varsity season and the rest is history.
