Connor Farrell is back in the Premier Lacrosse League, and the former Sachem East standout is already proving why he remains one of the most dominant faceoff specialists in professional lacrosse.
Through the first two weeks of the 2026 PLL season with the Philly Waterdogs, Farrell leads the league in faceoff percentage at 61 percent and ground balls with 23. He is currently the only player in the PLL winning faceoffs at a rate above 60 percent, the only player with more than 20 ground balls and the only player to surpass 30 faceoff wins this season.
Farrell, a 2014 graduate of Sachem East, has built a reputation as one of the toughest pound-for-pound competitors in professional lacrosse. Standing at 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, the fan favorite known as “The Milkman” continues to dominate at the X with a combination of strength, technique, and relentless effort.
A two-time PLL All-Star, his return to the league has immediately provided a spark, as he has consistently controlled possessions and created opportunities for his team early in the season.
Farrell’s lacrosse résumé is filled with accomplishments dating back to his collegiate career at Long Island University, where he set NCAA Division II records in faceoff winning percentage and ground balls per game.
Now back on the professional stage, the Holtsville native is once again showing why he remains one of the most feared faceoff specialists in lacrosse.
