Crossan sees first action since ACL tear

Trent Crossan sees his first live game action since injuring his knee last season.

Friday’s scrimmage at North Babylon was Trent Crossan’s first live game action since tearing his ACL during Week 4 of the 2011 season.

Crossan, who played almost the entire game at the quarterback position, looked strong on cuts and gradually felt comfortable as the game progressed.

Only a junior, Crossan is a three-year varsity starter and a captain this season.

Sachem North will open the 2012 season on the road at Lindenhurst, Friday, September 7 at 6 p.m.
