From the collection: Sachem gym bag

Recently, I acquired a Sachem gym bag from the 1970s. Bright with red, black and gold colors, the bag uses the “Flaming Arrows” moniker with a Native American head.

Students of the modern era are remissed to learn that you were to wear school colors, logos and athletic wear during gym class in decades past. While retro is in, there is no standard dress code for gym class today aside from shorts and a tee-shirt.

If you have any unique Sachem memorabilia you’d like to part with, or would like to submit photos of something in your personal collection, please email Editor@SachemReport.com.
