This past weekend the Sachem Arrows Marching Band competed at Walt Whitman and Division Avenue high schools in separate tournaments.
On Saturday night at Walt Whitman, the band scored a 78.6, tied for first place and the third highest score of all Long Island bands at the show.
On Sunday afternoon the Arrows placed second to Copiague at the Division Avenue show.
The band will be in action against next Saturday, Oct. 20 in a NYSFBC Competition at Mineola High School.
