Sachem Family: Communicate, inform, engage during storm aftermath

Tree down in Holbrook, N.Y.

There are numerous members of the Sachem Family in need of help during this devastating time thanks to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

In hopes of fostering lines of communication between members of our Sachem Family, we’re going to use the Internet and social media to share messages and ways to help one another.

Comment on the Facebook thread, post a reply on this story, or email me directly if you need help getting in touch with someone or with any help at all during this difficult time. Sachem email addresses are down due to server problems from the power outages, so use editor@sachemreport.com to reach my directly. Anything we can do to help one another will prove once again how strong the Sachem Family really is. I’m in touch with Sachem Superintendent James Nolan and many teachers and administrators in the school district … we’re all here to help.

Again, to keep in the loop of communication about news and information regarding the Sachem Central School District, please follow @SachemSchools on Twitter and like Sachem Schools on Facebook. I will also be active on @SachemReport and @ChrisVaccaro on Twitter when necessary.
