The Sachem East boys volleyball team lost in the Suffolk County Division I championship Sunday afternoon at Lindenhurst.
The second-seeded Arrows lost, 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, to the top-seeded Bulldogs.
Lindenhurst (15-2) was led by senior co-captain Michael Comens, who recorded a career-high 38 kills.
Sachem East finished the 2012 season with a 13-4 record.
Lindenhurst, who has won back-to-back county titles for the first time since the 1967-1968 seasons, will place Massapequa in the Long Island championship on Tuesday.
